The show was renamed in December 2020 to SnapCube's Real-Time Fandub to allow for format flexibility, and it has only risen in the quality of its process and production value. This inevitably led to SnapCube reaching the 100,000 subscriber milestone in May 2019. Every dub premiere now introduces an average of three million views and 20,000+ new subscribers, peaking at four million views (during the premiere of " Sonic Riders" in March 2020) and 42,000 new subscribers (after the release of " Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)" between April and May 2019). With the audience that stuck around after the first and second Sonic Adventure 2 dubs, the three-part episode " Marvel's Spider-Man" boosting views statistics from around 50,000 views per month average during all of 2018 to around 700,000 views per month by February 2019. The show was an elevator for the channel's success, carrying over the following from the original Real-Time Fandub series had, and establishing SnapCube as a household name. Real-Time Fandub Games, as it was called then, was first teased via Penny's personal channel in April 2018, and was met with overwhelmingly positive reception. In late 2016, SnapCube moved onto a regular schedule, with new videos uploaded on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The channel received its first 5000 subscribers by June 2017, followed by a slow but promising growth down the line. Episodes alternated between solo gameplay and gameplay with Penny's friends. It officially launched the first video on the channel on October 28, 2016, the first part to a nine-part gameplay of Skyrim: Special Edition. Prior to this, Penny Parker had at least five different YouTube channels, one of which included live-action comedy. SnapCube was created on J(originally under a title including her old name) to contain the gaming content that was previously uploaded to Penny's personal channel, then named Knitting Giant Beanies. or both!
